Are paper tea cups harmful to your health？

　　The third kind is the paper-plastic cup which is commonly used now. This paper cup is a layer of paper outside, inside is a layer of relatively smooth material which named coated paper. The material contains some paraffin wax and the rest is mostly polyethylene which is healthy and not life-threatening. But if the production of the choice of bad materials or substandard processing, which will also produce harmful substances. Some paper cup manufacturers add a lot of fluorescent brightening agents to make the cups look whiter. These harmful substances will become a potential carcinogen if included by human.
　　2.Not all paper cups can draw tea
　　To prevent water from penetrating, the inner walls of paper cups are usually coated with a thin layer of wax. As we all know, wax melts in heat. It means that if the temperature of the water exceeds 40 degrees centigrade, the wax layer will melt away. Some people drink hot water in a waxed paper cup, which is actually very dangerous. If the temperature of the drink is too high, the paraffin wax in the inner wall of the paper cup will melt, and the paper cup will absorb water and be deformed. Paper cups made by regular manufacturers are made of food-grade wax, which has little impact on health. But there are still illegal enterprises in the market with low cost of industrial paraffin wax coating. All in all, waxed paper cups are best for cold drinks but not for hot drinks, not to mention drawing tea.
　　Many people think disposable paper cups can't draw tea or coffee. Experts said that the regular production of polypropylene film paper cup does not exist this problem. Polypropylene is  non-toxic, temperature resistant and extremely pure, and contains almost no chemical additives. Therefore, it is not a problem to choose high-quality paper cups produced by regular manufacturers to be paper tea cups, and it will even be more convenient, especially when we need to go out.

　　3.How to judge the quality of paper tea cups?
　　In accordance with the standard, the cup intima generally presents a uniform distribution state, and will not be uneven. The main problem is that the ink used to print the pattern is toxic. You need to find the relevant mark on the cup with clear production date and information. 　　Smell the paper cups. If the paper cup gives off an unpleasant smell, it can show that the paper cup used in unqualified material, or the paper cup has exceeded the shelf life and has become mildew.
